On the night before His crucifixion, Jesus promised His disciples, and us, that He would prepare a place for us in His “Father’s house” (John 14:2-3).
In the video below, I explore the comforting assurance that as New Testament saints, we have an eternal home in glory. Our experiences on earth will vary, but oh the joy we will feel when we arrive in Heaven.
During this Christmas season, the idea of home brings back memories of days long gone, some joyful and others sad and perhaps painful.
But Jesus is preparing a place for us, a new home. When He takes us to His Father’s house, we will forget all the sorrows and trials of this life amid the joy of seeing Jesus and the place He has prepared for us. The celebrations in eternity will never disappoint us or result in painful memories.
